The mission of the TTU Kappa Sigma Alumni Associations centers on lifelong brotherhood, supporting Kappa Mu Chapter and alumni brothers through mentorship, networking, financial and capital support, and asset management. The alumni association acts as a bridge, connecting alumni and students, ensuring the fraternity's ideals of fellowship and brotherhood continue to benefit members long after graduation, with a strong emphasis on service, giving, and the core values of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Kappa Phi Delta Fraternity was founded in 1964 as the first local social fraternity at Tennessee Technological University. In 1968 Kappa Phi Delta became a colony of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. The Kappa Mu Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity was chartered on May 02, 1969, becoming Tennessee Technological University's first national fraternity.
